  • Poster-style magazine advertisement.
  • 3-D Invitation- Portfolio Review. During my final semester of school, I underwent a faculty portfolio review that required an invitation. In order to stand out, I ignored the conventional invitation ideal of a gatefold card and instead constructed this 3-D representation of a miniature trash can, with applicably-sized samples from my portfolio and the actual invitation: a crumpled, stained memo inviting the faculty member in question to help me “take the trash out of my portfolio” at my portfolio review. 12 Faculty members found one of these in their mailbox that morning.
  • Irish-style Pub/Restaurant Sign.
  • Travel Brochure for "Middle-Earth". A What If? project… this travel brochure invites one to visit the mythical lands of J.R.R. Tolkein’s Lord Of The Rings. Utilizing imagery from Peter Jackson’s movie adaptations, it becomes very easy to see the appeal of Middle-Earth, home to hobbits, elves, dwarves and dragons.
  • Magazine Ad- School Project. A magazine ad for Toshiba Copiers… The client had already established their copy; they just needed a visual to go with it. What else comes in an assortment? Asking myself that question quickly led me to the boxed chocolate concept. Shown is the initial ad comp, completed within the stipulated 1 ½ –hr. period.
  • Product Bulletin-Flying Tigers Commemorative Flight Jacket. A product bulletin (such as a manufacturer might supply a retailer to convince them to carry a product) for a commemorative leather flight jacket decorated with colorful patches based on those worn by the Flying Tigers volunteer air corps, which flew in China just prior to World War II.
  • Sky Captain Website Design. My Entry for the Sky Captain Homepage Design Contest. Entrants were given a selection of 30-40 images to choose from.
  • Spec Book Cover, done to help market the novel. The painting is by Cris de Lara.
